Olivine Bandana | Free Crochet Pattern

Is there a type of project you love and actually use?! Bandanas have been my favorite for like the past year and I finally decided to write up a pattern using my Olivine design from a couple years ago.

This bandana features eyelets and texture using a single crochet in third loop which is one of my absolute favorite stitches along with a simple half double crochet stitch.

But seriously, I wear bandanas almost daily. The are perfect for keeping hair out of my face, adding some fun to outfits, and helping me get to hair wash day.

If you’d like to save this pattern for later, pin it!

Notes:

  • When the number comes before the stitch (2hdc) this means place 2hdc in a st.
  • When the number comes after (hdc 2) this means hdc in the next two stitches.
  • Instructions within [ ] are placed in chain space.
  • Ch 2 or Ch 1 at the beginning of the rows do not count as a stitch.
  • You will always place two stitches in the first and last stitch of row.
  • The 2 chains at the point are not included in stitch count.
  • R5 and R9 – you will work the sc in the 3rd loop only on the front of the work, below the two bars you would normally work through. Photo below.
  • Sizing: Pattern is available in three sizes – photo of measurements below.
  • Sizing: To customize increase or decrease size subtract or add R6-9 repeats, always ending after R8 and moving on to Straps + Top Edge.
  • Sc3lo will be worked on the front of the stitch, the third loop will be facing you below the 2 bars you usually stitch through.
